My name is Amy Standridge, and I'm fighting to bring my 8-year-old son, Jr. home. We call him Junebug!
In 2021, Jr. was removed by child services based on reasons they later admitted weren't true. Despite my warnings, he was placed somewhere that resulted in criminal convictions for abuse. Now, the state can't locate records of where he is.
I'm fighting to:
Locate Jr. and verify his safety
Bring him home to his family myself and his other siblings where he will be stable, loved, wanted, and safe
Hold the system accountable for its failures
Help other families navigate this broken system
Everyday without Jr. is one day too long. This website documents our journey and provides resources for other families facing similar battles.
